Desert National Park is located in western Rajasthan near the cities of Jaisalmer and Barmer. It is one of India’s largest national parks, covering about 3,162 sq. km in the heart of the Thar Desert.

- Vast golden sand dunes, rocky outcrops, and salt lake beds.
- Famous as the most important habitat of the Great Indian Bustard (Godawan), one of the world’s most endangered birds.
