Great stay, great tour Had been on a birding trip to Tal Chhapar, Pokhran and Jorbeer with Atul (the owner of Raptors Inn) from 15th to 21st Nov 2025. From the moment we were picked up at Ratangarh station till the moment we were dropped at Bikaner station, it was a great experience. Our room in Raptors Inn was spacious, clean and lots of charging points to recharge camera batteries. The toilet was fitted with geyzer and western commode. There was provision of tea/coffee making in the common passage. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were varied, tasty and ample. There's hardly anything more that a bird photographer can ask for. Our trips to the sanctuary and other places was highly successful in regard of sighting and photography. Thanks to Atul and his team.
Our birding trip to Tal Chapper and Jorbeed with Atulji (Raptor's Inn owner) was from 24th to 28th December 2025. Our honesty experience at RIH was great. The hospitality was amazing. The food was home cooked and tasty (this kept us healthy through out the trip). The rooms were very clean, bedding was neat, toilets -sparkling clean, water -always served in glass bottles and hot water for 24 hrs. In short all our needs were fulfilled. The homestay is beautifully decorated and all family members work as a team. Our safari experience was also great. Atulji has many vehicles and fleet of good guides . So our customised tour of two people was well managed.We clicked all our targeted species( black francolin, cinereous vulture,painted sandgrouse) And last but not the least , thanks to him for arranging trip to Salasar Balaji Dham late evening on last day. It was a memorable way to end the year
Recently We visited Jaipur,Jalana and Tal chappar as a Family for Heritage cum Wild life Trip.We have contacted Mr.Atul and he had planned our trip from starting from Chennai and return back to Chennai for a one week.He nicely arranged Stay,Safari, Transport,food everything.We explored all Heritage sites at Jaipur and got lot of lifer (Birds and Animals) at Tal chappar . His home stay(Rapters Inn) at Tal chappar is very clean and had very tasty and hygienic food ,moreover staffs and guides over there was very humble and Friendly like Atul.Over all trip was very cost effective and worth because of Mr.Atul.We had language problem and new to North India for Wild life Trip but We hadn't faced any difficulty,instead felt like family with Rapters Inn staffs.Again waiting for next trip to Rajasthan with Rapters Inn Team especially with Atul eagerly🥰
Into the Indian National Parks in Rajasthan with Atul from Raptors Inn Jan 2025 • Friends Just before the Chinese New Year holidays, (together with a friend, hubby & I ) we embarked on an exhilarating bird photography trip to Tal Chhapar, Jorbeed, Bikaner, Khichan and Jaisalmer in Rajasthan, India. This was a memorable way to start the year. We were eager to explore and photograph the many raptors that the national parks have to offer. Despite the cold, we were thrilled and satisfied with the number or raptors we encountered. It was a 9 day trip with the main objective of photographing various raptors. Our guide, Atul from Raptors Inn was incredibly knowledgeable and a keen bird photographer himself. Spotting the many raptors, including the two Bustards - Great Indian Bustard and Macqueen’s from a far distance was challenging. However, given Atul’s expertise and his amazing team, we suceeded. Their passion and focus on showing us the many raptors and smaller birds were evident throughout the entire trip.
If in Tal Chappar, Raptors Inn Guesthouse (RIH) is 'the place' to stay. We, 4 birders, stayed at RIH for 3 days and did extensive birding in nearby areas. RIH is a fantastic place to stay in Tal Chappar; it is conveniently located very close to the sanctuary gate. RIH provided all the supports and facilities for our very comfortable, convenient and purposeful birding and stay for 3 days. Rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped. The food was really sumptuous and gave us a great experience of local taste and flavour. Atul the owner, in addition to being a successful entrepreneur, himself is a very knowledgeable and outstanding birder. His support staff are also very efficient and knowledgeable. In the guesthouse he has developed a good library with great excellent of birding and other nature related books. He has a fleet of vehicles which extends ready support for any purpose.
